Always have great food here. The family who runs the cart are always so nice. Very happy to have the gluten free options. My favorite is the apple one adding bacon. In the summer the lemon curd and blueberries are amazing!
I had the turkey blt waffle sandwich. First bite and part of my waffle fell apart, so it was messy. But, sometimes, the messier, the tastier. My sandwich was delicious. Thick slices of turkey. Also, had a caramel apple pie waffle and it did not disappoint either. I have seen the Hello, Fresh cart in Vancouver and really wanted to try it, but they seem to always be closed when I drive by. After reading reviews online it made me drive to Washougal to try that food truck instead. Great food, but the building could use some updates.
Just passing by and decided to stop in, no expectations. I was floored, the food was absolutely ridiculous!! It’s not just a waffle, it was an experience! The owner was super cool, had great conversation and was a Challenger guy like me. I had the Carmel Apple Pie waffle and I will be back to try the other offerings! You can’t get anything this good for this cheap anywhere else!
The hype is real. After months of driving by I decided today was the day to try this waffle stand with 4.4 stars. Let me tell you, if you order the zesty chicken sandwich you might drive back to order a second. Im not kidding. This place is dangerous good. Would recommend staying away for those on a diet, I have been back 3 times in the last 36 hours. I wanted to try other items but at this point leaving with 2 zesty’s is a win. 5 stars
Dude was super nice and solid gluten free waffle. Maple syzrp would be nice. Fresh fruit was super fresh. Vegan butter would be coo too! But for Washougal it's a 5
The atmosphere is not top tier, there might be gremlins off in the far corner of the parking lot. But sometimes in life you might have to journey to far off lands to encounter wonderful and unusual things. I got the Sausage Waffle with Gravy and the woman who prepared it was charming and kind, exactly the kind of person you want to have making your food. You know what I mean, surrogate mother kind of stuff. So she hands me this container and I take it over to the table and my first impression was a little underwhelming. It all just looked a little sad there in its little box. Kinda pale and anemic. But then I bit into it... Ok! All is well in waffle land! The tastebuds celebrate! Faith is restored!!! I could live on these! Deep savory flavors explode on my tongue! Evocative memories of childhood rise up like mists from a morning lake. Hello! Waffle! Where have you been all my life?!?! So far each of the food trucks in this barren lot have been great. Making this unlikely spot in the middle of nowhere an absolute DESTINATION! Don’t go to corporate fast food places when you can go to places like this and find magic. Because that’s what this is, the magic of people feeding people.
We got the Nutella and banana for the kids, they've never ate their food so quick. My wife and I split the sausage gravy waffle and the capresse waffle and both were perfectly balanced. The guy working there today was on point. Great service, great food, great price.
Maranatha Pupusas! Oh happy days! I am all about some good pupusas! When I saw these particular pupusa were seven dollars, I questioned it, but I was already here so I said let’s give it a try! Let me tell you one is enough! They are HUGE! Worth it! Definitely the biggest Pupusas I have ever seen! I got the revuelta and it was delicious! The curtido is excellent too! Mom and I enjoyed it in the sunny weather on the bench they have right out front. This place is a must try! How brilliant of the Hello Waffle to add Maramatha Pupusas! After looking at the selection of waffles, I will definitely be back to try the waffles as well!!
